| Additional Description |
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is seeking to retain a Design-Build Contractor consisting of a Construction firm and a Consultant Engineering firm to execute a contract for the design and construction of CTDOT Project No. 0079-0244: Resurfacing, Bridge Rehabilitation and Safety Improvements on I-691in the Town of Southington and City of Meriden Connecticut. This Project is located on I-691 in the City of Meriden and the Town of Southington, Project begins at log mile 1.32 (Route5) and extends to log mile 4.84 (Route 322). It is anticipated that the scope of work under this project will be as defined below. Aspects of the Project scope are subject to change prior to the issuance of the RFP.

Pavement rehabilitation
Roadway drainage and cross culvert investigation/repairs
Minor Bridgework
Guiderail upgrades
Highway design and construction
Traffic engineering
Illumination
