Baseball, Softball & Rugby Field Renovations
Project Number: ECSU 2020-8
Project Description:
The work includes laser grading of infield mixes, irrigation system adjustments, and sod installation for the baseball and softball fields. Renovation of the existing rugby field including fraise mowing, vertical slit drainage, irrigation adjustments, and other surface and rootzone modifications.
Summary of Work includes but is not limited to the following:
1. Laser grading and supplemental addition of Duraedge mixes on infields for Baseball and Softball.
2. Irrigation system adjustments for Baseball, Softball, and Rugby fields.
3. Sod installation for the baseball infield area including the partial removal of sand-based rootzone mix.
4. Renovation of the rugby field including fraise mowing, vertical slit drainage, core aeration, top dressing, and overseeding modifications.
This bid is restricted to State of Connecticut Registered and Certified Small and Minority Owned Businesses.
There will be a MANDATORY pre-bid conference on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Athletic Complex, Mansfield, CT. Late arrivals of 10 minutes or more will not be given credit for attendance or allowed to sign in.

The successful qualified low bidder on this project must submit an Affirmative Action Plan. The plan must be filed within fifteen days after a bid has been accepted by the awarding agency.
The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technical defects or to reject any and all bids.
