Clarifications #1 Bid#20-102 Promethean 75-inch Display Boards
Question: Are you accepting offers for equal or better brands or does the brand have to be Promethean?
Answer: The Town prefers it to be completely compatible to the Promethean panels we currently have in use. We want to avoid additional training, software licensing and compatibility issues for students and teachers. Ideally we want to be consistent as we purchase these units.
- NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The purpose of this addendum is to provide information to Bidders.
Please be advised that due to mandated social distancing, the Town has decided to provide the option of receiving bids electronically. Bids can be sent to email sealedbids@waterfordct.org on or before the closing dates and time specified on bid documents. Electronic submissions will be viewed only at the officially scheduled date and time of opening. Bid numbers and description must be stated in the subject .
The electronic option does not negate the submission of regular hand delivered bids. Those who wish to submit physical bids can place them in the drop box at the back of the building.
Submissions will be opened in the presence of the Finance Director, relevant department heads and the purchasing Agent. Bids results will be posted to the Towns website within twenty four hours of opening.

INVITATION TO BID
75” Promethean Interactive Display Boards and Installation
Bid #20-102
The Town of Waterford will accept sealed proposals for 75” Promethean Interactive
Display and Installation until 10:00 A.M. on May 6, 2020 in the Louise Appleby Room,
15 Rope Ferry road Waterford CT.06385. Please see the Town of Waterford website
at: http://www.waterfordct.org/depts/finance/purchasing.htm for packets and all
information regarding this Proposal. Any questions regarding this proposal are to be
directed to the Purchasing Agent at rdummett@waterfordct.org.
A mandatory pre-bid conference /site visit for this Request for Proposal will take place at
10:00am on April 15,2020 at 470 Boston Post Rd. Waterford, CT 06385. Social distancing shall
be in effect.
The Board of Selectmen reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in
part, and to waive any informality in any bid when such action is deemed in the best
interest of the Town; their decision is final.
