  • TOWN OF BRANFORD, CONNECTICUT NOTICE TO BIDDERS ADDENDUM NO. 2 TO Foote Memorial Park Tennis and Basketball Court Renovations & Hammer Field Basketball Court Renovations This addendum includes changes, deletions, additions and/or clarifications to the existing Request for Bids for the “Foote Memorial Park Tennis and Basketball Court Renovations & Hammer Field Basketball Court Renovations”. Bidders should consider all items set forth in this Addendum for Bid Preparation as applicable. The following changes and additional information are hereby made part of the Contract Documents. Effective Friday, March 20, 2020, Town Hall will be closed to the public to limit the exposure of residents and town staff to COVID-19. The bid submission/opening location has therefore been changed to the following location: Branford Parks and Recreation Department 46 Church Street Branford, CT 06405 1st Floor Sealed bids will be received at the Branford Parks and Recreation Department, 46 Church Street Branford, CT 06405 until 11:00 AM, Wednesday March 25, 2020. Said bids will then be opened and read aloud publicly immediately thereafter. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bid proposals sent by facsimile will not be accepted. Additional Description The Town of Branford is requesting bid proposals for tennis and basketball court renovations to Foote Memorial Park to Four (4) Bituminous Concrete Tennis Courts, Two (2) Bituminous Concrete Basketball Courts and Eight (8) HAR-TRU Clay Tennis courts. Specifications may be obtained from the Finance Department, Branford Town Hall, 1019 Main Street, Branford, CT or on the Town’s website at www.branford-ct.gov. Sealed bids will be received at the Finance Department, 1019 Main Street, P.O. Box 150, Branford, Connecticut 06405 for “FOOTE MEMORIAL PARK TENNIS AND BASKETBALL COURT RENOVATIONS” until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Said bids will then be opened and read aloud publicly immediately thereafter. Bid proposals sent by facsimile will not be accepted. The Board of Selectman or the majority reserve the right to select or reject any and/or all bids containing alternate proposals, to waive any informality in proposals and to reject any and/or all bids or accept such bid as shall, in their judgment, be in the best interest of the Town of Branford.
