Additional Description Sealed bids will be received at the Town Managers Office, 240 Kensington Road, Berlin, Connecticut 06037 for the project, McGee Middle School – Gymnasium Painting until 10:00 a.m. on February 25, 2020 at which time and place said bids will be opened publicly. Bids may be hand delivered to the above address or directed by U.S. Mail to Town Managers Office, Rm. 101, 240 Kensington Road, Berlin, Connecticut 06037. A strongly encouraged site visit is scheduled for February 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at McGee Middle School. Drawings and specifications will be available beginning February 7, 2020. Bid Supplements, inclusive of any issued Addenda, will be issued by the Architect solely to plan holders. Drawings may also be viewed at Friar Architecture Inc., 21 Talcott Notch Road, Farmington, CT. Sealed bids are due in accordance with the Invitation to Bid for McGee Middle School – Gymnasium Painting. All bids should be submitted in duplicate, in a sealed envelope and clearly identified: Berlin Schools – McGee Gymnasium Painting. It is the bidders’ responsibility to verify all Supplements with the Owner/Architect prior to bid submission. No bids will be received after the designated times. All bids will be opened publicly. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of one-hundred eighty (180) days after the date of bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to wave any informalities in the bidding and/or reject any unqualified bids. The Owner is an equal opportunity employer.
