| Additional Description |
The Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG), a political subdivision of the State of Connecticut serving the central-western Connecticut Planning Region, is issuing this RFP to select a consultant to develop a regional multi-jurisdictional Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan (NHMP) for its 19 member municipalities. The NHMP will address regional natural hazards and strategies toward resilience in the face of climate change and natural disasters. The end product will be a consolidated regional, multi-jurisdictional NHMP to be adopted by each NVCOG municipality and approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). |
