The Metropolitan District (MDC), a municipal water and sewer utility with a primary service area in the Capitol region of Connecticut, is requesting responses to a Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQP) for on-call professional engineering services for various categories including water, wastewater, general facilities improvement projects, planning and engineering support services and dams.
The RFQP can be downloaded at the MDC eBid site at www.ebidexchange.com/mdc.The RFQP can also be viewed in person at MDC Headquarters located at 555 Main St., Hartford, CT by making an appointment with the District Clerk at (860) 278-7850, Ext. 3207.
Responses must be submitted, as specified in the RFQP, by 2:00 PM Local Time on
November 13, 2019 as follows:

The MDC will hold a pre-response meeting at 10:00 AM. Local Time on October 11, 2019. Potential respondents are encouraged to attend, but attendance at the pre-response meeting is not mandatory. The meeting will be held at the Pre-Bid Conference Room located at 231 Brainard Road, Hartford, CT.
Questions regarding the RFQP must be submitted in writing, by email, with the subject line “RFQP 2019R-22” to Contract Specialist, Ted Sweeney at tsweeney@themdc.com by 4:00 PM Local Time on October 15, 2019. Formal questions will not be accepted by telephone, and questions left on voicemail will neither be accepted nor answered. |
