Additional Description The Town of Branford is requesting bid proposals for the Averill Place Storm Drainage & Erosion Control Project in the Town of Branford, Connecticut. Sealed bids will be received at the Finance Department, 1019 Main Street, P.O. Box 150 Branford, Connecticut 06405 for AVERILL PLACE STORM DRAINAGE & EROSION CONTROL PROJECT until 11:00 a.m., Thursday October 10, 2019. Said bids will then be opened and read aloud publicly immediately thereafter. A “MANDATORY” pre-bid conference will be held at the Project Site (60 Averill Place) at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. This conference will afford Contractors an opportunity to visit the project site to fully acquaint themselves with the existing conditions and limitations of the proposed work. Bids shall be submitted on the provided forms and they shall be complete with no alterations to the provided forms. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of bids or until the next work day immediately following said period, without the consent of the Town of Branford. The Town of Branford reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding, if such actions are in the best interest of the Town.
