| Additional Description |
The Town of Voluntown is seeking competitive bids for the purchase of diesel fuel and #2 heating fuel oil for the period of September 24, 2019 through June 30, 2020. Bidders can bid on one or more commodities. Sealed bids labeled with bid number and bid title will be due no later than Tuesday September 24, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Office of the First Selectman, 115 Main Street, Voluntown, CT 06384, at which time they will be opened publicly. Bids received after this date and time will be rejected. Sealed Bid envelopes should be clearly labeled with bid number, bid title. Bid specifications may be obtained digitally only on the Town of Voluntown’s website at www.voluntown.gov/rfprfq/.
Upon award of the bid, the winning bidder shall be bound by the bid proposal price throughout the contract period. The Town of Voluntown reserves the right to reject any or all bids; or to waive defects in same, if it deems such to be in the best interest of the Town.
