| Additional Description |
This procurement is for 35’and 40’ low floor heavy-duty battery electric transit buses (BEB). All are required to have a minimum expected life of twelve (12) years or 500,000 miles whichever comes first and are intended for the widest possible spectrum of passengers, including children, adults, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.
The term of this contract will be for two (2) years from the date of award so that buses may be replaced as they reach the end of their lifespan. The Contractor(s) shall comply with all applicable Federal, State and local regulations. The buses shall meet all applicable FMVSS and shall accommodate all applicable FMCSR regulations in effect at the date of manufacture.
