| Additional Description |
The project consists of the supply and replacement
of the existing granular activated carbon (GAC) media with new GAC media in four
filters at the Lake Gaillard Water Treatment Plant and the replacement of the
existing GAC media with new GAC media in two filters at the Saltonstall Water
Treatment Plant, and appurtenant work.
The foregoing is a general description only and shall not be construed
as a complete description of the Work to be performed for this Project. The
exact amount of GAC to be supplied is subject to change. Alternative
replacement strategies are reflected on the Bid Proposal sheet.
