- The Office of the Attorney General has received the following question concerning RFP #2020-01. The question, along with the response of the Office of the Attorney General, is as follows:
Question 1:
Is RFP # 2020-01 intended to seek legal services for a particular investigation and
possible litigation, or does it serve as a general request for proposal for legal services on an ad
hoc basis in the instance that an investigation or possible litigation involving the pharmaceutical
and medical device industry may arise within the initial five year term? If RFP # 2020-01 is
intended to seek legal services for a particular investigation and possible litigation, please see
question number 2.
Answer:
This RFP is not about a particular matter. It is a general request for proposal
for legal services on an ad hoc basis in the instance that an investigation or possible litigation
involving the pharmaceutical and medical device industry may arise within the initial five year
term.
Question 2:
RFP # 2020-01 for the “suspected violations of law in the provision of healthcare
goods and services, including by not limited to, sales, pricing and marketing practices in the
pharmaceutical and medical device industry” pertain to any particular drug, medical device, and/or
service?
Answer:
This RFP does not pertain to any particular drug, medical device or rvice.
