July 3, 2019
Town Hall:
1. Front Entrance by elevator. Walk Off
2. Rear Entrance between double Doors. Walk Off
3. Rear single door entrance into hall to 2nd floor. Rubber tiles
4. Landings on both stair wells as reviewed. Rubber tiles
5. First floor rear foyer & ramp carpet tiles with new stair treads for the three stairs to upper hallway.
6. All (small) store rooms and closets discussed on walk will be rubber tiles. This includes the store room on second floor in the special services area that had the fire piping and the copy room next to the Board of Ed conference room (tiled now). The first floor store rooms for the tax collector and Town Clerk will be carpet tiles.
7. Only three area’s for the Vinyl Plank flooring, Auditorium, Kitchen on 2nd floor in Finance and off the Hallway by the Board of education. Nothing goes into the IT room located behind the kitchen.
8. Front/east stair from basement to 2nd floor will get stair treads and the town will take care of the kick plates. Landings get rubber tiles as discussed.
Youth Services Building, YSB:
1. South Parking lot side main entrance, Walk Off
2. East side entrance to break in wall past rest rooms, Walk Off
3. Handicap bathroom on first floor, no flooring
4. Second floor Alternate bid as regular flooring replacement.
5. 2nd floor hallway rubber tile to elevator and stair well entrance.
6. If second floor alternate is selected we will review the alternate to gather more information as to what is under the flooring and address all issues if asbestos tiles are found.

INVITATION TO BID
The Town of Waterford will accept sealed proposals for Carpet/Flooring Replacement Services
Waterford Town Hall and Waterford Youth Services until 10:00 A.M. on July 17, 2019 in the Louise Appleby Room, 15 Rope Ferry road Waterford CT.06385. Please see the Town of Waterford website at http://www.waterfordct.org/depts/finance/purchasing.htm for packets and all information regarding this Proposal. Any questions regarding this proposal are to be directed to the Purchasing Agent at rdummett@waterfordct.org.
Mandatory Walk through and Inspection: All bidders are required to attend the meeting starting at the Town Hall at 9:30. The walk through will begin promptly at the time specified and include a tour led by Town staff of all areas referenced in the bid documents. Attendance at both buildings is mandatory.
Town Hall: July 02, 2019, 9:30 – 10:30, Youth Services: July 02, 2019, 10.30 - 11:30. Prospective bidders may return to both buildings after the mandatory meeting on July 02 to revisit sites and take measurements between the hours of 11:30am-2;30 pm.
The Board of Selectmen reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, and to waive any informality in any bid when such action is deemed in the best interest of the Town; their decision is final.
