REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS AND PROPOSALS
FOR
MDC PROPERTY AND EASEMENT VEGETATION MANAGEMENT
RFQP NUMBER: 2019R-09

PROPOSALS DUE: JULY 17, 2019 at 2:00PM (local time)
The Metropolitan District (the “MDC” or “District”) is requesting proposals from qualified and responsible Contractors to provide vegetation management assessments and services to the MDC. The intent of the MDC Property and Easement Vegetation Management Contract is to remove all undesirable vegetation, trees, vines, and any other unwanted or hazardous organic material inside the area(s) being treated. In turn, providing MDC access to its infrastructure and simplification of long term maintenance of the area(s).
A Mandatory PreBid conference will be held for potential Respondents on June 14, 2019 at 10:00AM, at MDC PreBid Conference Room, 231 Brainard Rd, Hartford, CT. Prospective Respondents must attend this conference. There will be a Site Tour (time and date to be addressed at Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference). All prospective Respondents are invited to ask questions to the District and/or the District’s Agent(s) during this conference.
The proposal must be prepared in strict accordance with the scope of services and detailed specifications incorporated. Professional firms interested in providing such services are requested to submit a response to this Request for Qualifications and Proposal (the “RFQP”). The RFQP may be obtained from the MDC eBid site at www.ebidexchange.com/mdc. It may also be viewed in person at the MDC Headquarters at 555 Main Street, Hartford, CT by making an appointment with the District Clerk at 860-278-7850, ext. 3207.
