| Additional Description |
The Newtown Board of Education (heretofore known as “Board”) is seeking to engage a company to enter into a one year, Preventative Maintenance HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) Service Agreement at Newtown High School located at 12 Berkshire Road, Sandy Hook, CT 06482, and Reed Intermediate School located at 3 Trades Lane, Newtown, CT 06470. The awarded bidder will be responsible for preventative maintenance services and frequencies as listed in the Scope of Work attachment, including all materials and equipment needed to perform this work. Awarded bidder is also responsible for the repair and/or replacement of any failed components, (i.e. fan motors, compressors, control boards, refrigerant, etc.) at no additional cost to the Board. All filters, coil cleaning products and belts are all included within the contract pricing. Awarded bidder also will be responsible for monitoring the Building Management System along with ABS in troubleshooting, temperature adjustments, and equipment issues. |

A mandatory pre-bid walk through will be held on June 13, 2019 beginning at 11:00 AM at Newtown High School and then moving to Reed Intermediate School. At this time, a representative of the Board will be able to respond to any questions. |
