INVITATION TO BID
Sealed bids for the RIDGE ROAD & DEMING STREET DRAINAGE & ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS shall be accepted at the Office of the Town Manager, Town Hall, 1540 Sullivan Avenue, South Windsor, Connecticut until 11:00 a.m., Prevailing Local Time March 28, 2019, at which place and time said bids shall be opened publicly and read aloud.
In general the work to be performed under this contract shall be the installation of drainage improvements on portions of Deming Street and Ridge Road and the reconstruction of a portion of Ridge Road. This bid shall establish unit pricing for roadway repaving, roadway reconstruction, storm drainage improvements and associated work.
Copies of the Contract Documents may be examined and obtained from the Office of the Town Engineer located at the Town Hall, 1540 Sullivan Avenue, South Windsor, Connecticut between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on every working day. A nonrefundable payment of $50.00 cash or check, payable to the Town of South Windsor, will be required.
The Town of South Windsor, Connecticut reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted in response to this Invitation to Bid. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality, defect or irregularity in any or all Bids if such action is in the best interests of the Town.
