Question
The spec calls for 3 (LPR) cameras- will third-party LPR software be required? Or will they just use the VMS?
Answer
The cameras will be license plate capture not recognition- no OCR necessary

The 75 inch interactive LED display- can you be more definitive on this? Also, is this display required?
Answer
The display will not be required, please use an add / deduct for the screen and install.
Question
Will the Town of East Hartford permit be waved for this project?
Answer

Yes, a new Comcast drop has been ordered for the site Hockanum community building

With regards to project “Upgrade Security Systems- Community Rooms”.
Here are the conditions of the attic areas which will be accessible by the chosen integrator
Hockanum Park Apartments:
1. There are block fire walls in the attic areas. The walls are located in 1/3 or ½ of each length of building and are composed of cinder blocks. For example building number 15 is broken into 3 sections where the jogs are, and building 14 is separated in the middle of the building. Building 4 is at the jogs.
2. The attic insulation is not asbestos.
Shea Garden Apartments:
1. The attic areas have a clear span from end to end.
2. The attic insulation is not asbestos.

With regards to project “Upgrade Security Systems- Community Rooms”
Please include an add/deduct to the quotation to be submitted as described above for moving an access panel, corresponding power supply and cable modem 20 ‘ ft. though a common wall at the Shea gardens community room. All equipment is in place no new equipment is required in this addendum.

With regards to project “Upgrade Security Systems- Community Rooms”
Please add an electrical add/deduct to the quotation to be submitted as described above.
The electrical add/deduct will include all equipment and labor to provide quad receptacles to all rooms containing a switch and or power requirement for wireless equipment.
Please see the diagram as provided there are approximately 13 locations where power quad receptacles will be added from existing electrical wiring.
All equipment provided will require acceptance from owner and representative and all work must be performed by licensed electrical personnel and meet electrical inspection codes for the Town of East Hartford CT.
