This site is view only.  You will not be able to update or create a profile.  The State Of Connecticut is no longer accepting applications for The Correction Officer, Protective Services Trainee or State Police Trooper Trainee examinations.  It is anticipated that DAS may announce these exams again any time within the next 12-24 months.  Please check our web site on a regular basis so that you do not miss the next application filing period.

If you need to update your information on file such as a change in address or telephone number, please contact the Department of Correction’s Human Resources Office for Correction Officer, the Department of Public Safety’s Selections Unit for State Police Trooper Trainee and the Department of Administrative Services for Protective Services Trainee. For Protective Services Trainee you should email your updated information to lawenforcement.exams@ct.gov

If you were on active military duty during the application period for Correction Officer, Protective Services Trainee and State Police Trooper Trainee exams, and are interested in taking these exams, you may contact the Department of Administrative Services, Statewide Human Resources Management Section when you return from active duty to arrange to submit an application form and be scheduled for an examination. Please e-mail us at  lawenforcement.exams@ct.gov to request supplemental testing for applicants on active military duty. Applicants must provide documentation supporting that they were on active military duty during the application-filing period and meet all minimum qualifications as detailed on the examination announcement. Military orders must be faxed to 860-622-2947. The extended application deadline for military supplemental testing for the Correction Officer examination is November 1, 2009. The extended application deadline for military supplemental testing for Protective Services Trainee and State Police Trooper Trainee is May 1, 2010.
